The KINIKINIK RESTAURANT, STORE AND ACCOMMODATIONS
are situated in Redstone between the Chilancoh and Chilcotin rivers right along Highway 20, the route 40 connector to Bella Coola and the Pacific Ocean.
You cannot miss this beautiful timber frame building created by Oliver Tritten and Company. No matter what stop and park in the very generous parking provided on both sides of the highway.For your four legged friend there is a messaging pole surrounded by a sand “deposit pit” and readily available litter bags. Take a stroll around the beautifully landscaped area (keep your friend on a leash please as we have farm animals nearby) cross over the waterfall via the “Lover’s Bridge” to the children’s playgrounds. You will see that Kinikinik has a live roof, which is reminiscent of the historical sod roofs of times gone by.
Finally the path will take you back to the restaurant, where wholesome food made from scratch is waiting for you.

All our animals have free access to Redmond Sea Salt (we cook with and serve the refined version) and Redmond Clay. Animal supplements are sourced certified organic.Transport distance of our live animals to Chilcotin Harvest (just south of the glass doors), their final destination, is 11 kms.

Kombucha is a pro-biotic beverage containing millions of live aerobic and anaerobic microorganisms per serving. It is made using an ancient culture which is added to tea and herbal infusions sweetened with organic cane sugar. We offer a house-made kombucha as well as a selection of flavours made by Ethical Soda.
We include traditional live fermented foods in our menu for added flavour and nutrition. Lacto-fermented vegetables and sauerkrauts are very beneficial to digestion and metabolism. We use various organic vegetables, herbs, spices, and unrefined salt in the making of our ferments.
You will find Pasture to Plate meats and charcuterie, certified organic groceries, woolen socks and blankets from our Merino sheep, Ice Breaker clothing, books, beeswax candles, and many treasures…
We rent beautiful rooms, chalets, and houses for the night or extended stays here, or at the home ranch 15 minutes away.
